About this site
playquandle is a browser game portal operated by Playquandle Labs, 56 Lakeshore Road, Floor 5, Oulu, Finland. The site hosts the embedded browser game Fisherman and supporting content including guides, a FAQ and a decorative preview board.
Using the site
playquandle is provided for entertainment and personal use. You agree to use it in a lawful manner and not to interfere with its normal operation, attempt to disrupt or circumvent the service, reverse-engineer any part of the site, or use automated tools to access the site in ways that would place unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
The embedded game
Fisherman is a third-party browser game embedded on this site via a frame. It is a free skill-based game of timing and aim. We do not own or develop Fisherman; the game remains the intellectual property of its respective provider. Availability may change if the provider updates or removes the game, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to it.
Accounts and display names
Creating an account is optional. If you do, you choose a display name that is stored on your own device via local storage. You are solely responsible for the display name you choose — please keep it appropriate and free of anything offensive or misleading. We reserve the right to take action if a display name violates these terms.
The weekly board
The weekly board is a decorative preview with illustrative sample entries. It is not a preview scoreboard, not a competition and not a record of real player activity. No scores are submitted to or stored on our servers.
Skill-based play
Fisherman is a free skill game. Play is free to access on this site. There is no element of chance determining outcomes in the sense of a lottery or similar mechanism — outcomes depend on the player's timing and decisions.
Intellectual property
The playquandle name, site design, written content and code are owned by Playquandle Labs unless otherwise stated. The embedded game and any associated assets remain the property of their respective provider. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and game are provided on an "as is" basis without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be available at all times, free from errors, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Playquandle Labs is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of playquandle or the embedded game.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
